The data controller determines the purposes and means of processing the personal data collected through the Brikoula website and mobile application.

  • Data required to process payments (transaction references, payment status, technical identifiers)
  • Brikoula does not store full bank card numbers when an external payment provider is used.

2.4 Location data

  • Real-time location while the application is open and in use
  • Approximate location to display nearby services and requests

Location is not collected when the application is closed.

  • Creating and managing user accounts
  • Connecting service providers and requesters
  • Displaying services and requests near your location
  • Providing messaging (chat) features

Where processing is based on consent, the user may withdraw it at any time.

5. Geolocation and map

Real-time geolocation is used only:

  • While the application is open
  • To display nearby services and requests
  • To improve the relevance of results

You can deny location access in your device settings, which may limit certain features.

6. Sharing of data

Data may be shared:

  • With other users as part of the normal operation of the platform (profile, reviews, photos, descriptions)
  • With technical providers involved in operating the service (hosting, payment, maintenance), acting as processors
  • With legally authorized authorities where required by law

All processors are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.

All data is hosted and stored exclusively in Algeria. No personal data is transferred abroad.

  • Reviews and public profiles: while the account is active
